The LG LT500P Filters has incredible purifying properties and can significantly reduce over 99% of CTO (Chlorine, Taste & Odor) + Lead contaminants ,heavy metals, mercury,  THM, VOCs, particles, cadmium, chromium, copper, and any other major impurities in your drinking water. Other than just providing access to clean and healthy water, this filter also ensures the drinking water is odorless and tastes better.

The water filters are designed and manufactured with best in technology using recycled coconut shells that create an internal carbon filter with up to 50% more filtering pores. The results produced are 99% pure water for safe and hygienic drinking water that eliminates all impurities. At the same time, the refrigerator water filter leaves potentially healthy and beneficial minerals intact. The process of Carbonizing Coconut Shells into Coconut Carbon is a much more Eco Friendly process than traditional charcoal production for water filters. How to replace the LT500P water filter:

Remove the old LT500P water filter: Press the push button to open the filter cover. grasp the old filter. slowly rotate it 90¡ã counterclockwise. and take it off from the connector and discard.

Install the new filter: Align the new filter with the connector and insert the top of it into the filter holder. Slowly rotate it 90¡ã clockwise until it is firmly seated. Push the filter cover until it clicks into place.

Flush the new filter before use: Flush the water filter extensively for about 1-2 minutes for the first time of use to get rid of the loose black charcoals inside.
